④ MISUMI Organizational Development to Create an Environment Where Employees Can Challenge Themselves and Grow in the Right Way (Right Ways To Grow)

The MISUMI Group does not tolerate discrimination of any kind, including discrimination based on nationality, gender, age, educational background, or hiring category (new graduate or mid career). In decisions related to hiring, promotion, and job assignments, none of these attributes are considered; instead, evaluations are based solely on each employee’s capability in practice and performance outcomes.
In addition, while taking into account the individual circumstances of each employee, we place strong emphasis on creating a work environment that enables maximum challenge and contribution. At MISUMI Japan, for example, we have introduced unique initiatives, such as allowing full remote work arrangements for employees with responsibilities related to childcare, nursing care, or other personal circumstances.
Guided by the belief that diverse talent and diverse ways of thinking accelerate the advancement of the MISUMI MODEL, the MISUMI Group will continue to advance diversity and inclusion going forward.
