The MISUMI Group conducts a highly distinctive next generation talent development program unlike any other, in which employees identified as future executive candidates are developed under the assumption that they will become members of senior management in the near future.
All Corporate Officers at the level of Senior Corporate Officer and above collectively take responsibility for developing these candidates—“rallying together to nurture them”—through hands on involvement and continuous engagement.
While this framework is not disclosed to the candidates themselves, their development progress and performance in business execution are regularly monitored collectively by all Senior Corporate Officers and above, ensuring disciplined and comprehensive oversight.

With the objectives of improving productivity through enhanced improvement literacy, strengthening company‑wide capabilities to respond to change through these activities, and thereby contributing to MISUMI MODEL innovation, the MISUMI Group has implemented a MISUMI‑original training program starting in FY2024.
By expanding the program beyond the manufacturing sites to encompass all frontlines of MISUMI’s management activities, we aim to promote company wide improvement literacy enhancement and productivity improvement. Through accelerating the delivery of Customer’s Time Value and improving operational efficiency, this initiative seeks to further strengthen the Group’s overall competitiveness.
