Mechanisms for the Global Deployment of Next Challenge (Fly Next Program)

 To support employees who aspire to become global business leaders in the future, MISUMI has designed the Fly Next Program as a framework to enable overseas challenges.
 By providing support for language training and dispatching participants overseas as short term trainees, the program offers opportunities to gain hands on work experience in different cultural environments from an early stage of their careers.
 In addition, in order to encourage “Right Challenges” on a global scale, the program is designed not only for assignments from Japan to overseas locations, but also to enable cross border mobility between overseas subsidiaries, thereby fostering truly global perspectives and experience.

Global Deployment of Performance Evaluation

 The competency based performance evaluation framework, established as a global standard in FY2023, was first introduced in Japan and has since been rolled out sequentially to overseas subsidiaries. In FY2024, the framework was implemented in China and countries across Asia.
 Going forward, MISUMI will continue its deployment in Europe and the Americas, aiming to globally embed the mindset and practices of MISUMI Value’s and to further reinforce right actions and right perspectives across the Group worldwide.

 At MISUMI, we place strong emphasis on developing adaptive leaders capable of responding to change, enabling all employees to consistently take fast and right actions based on MISUMI Value’s.
 To accelerate our time based strategy, it is essential to first enhance the capabilities of managers.  Accordingly, MISUMI will launch a new manager focused training program, the Dynamic Leadership Program, starting in FY2025.

 In FY2024, we established a new organizational structure to promote and sustain “right behavior” (“Discipline”), putting in place a dedicated implementation framework. Under this new structure, operations have been carried out from FY2025 onward, reinforcing governance and ethical standards across the Group.
