Extends “Economy Shipping Service” to Sheet Metal Welding

As of April 15, 2024, meviy, an AI-based parts procurement platform powered by MISUMI Group Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; Representative Director and President: Ryusei Ono), will extends its "Economy Shipping Service" available for sheet metal welding, offering a 30% discount with no change in quality to customers who choose a long lead time (shipping after 20 days from order). This service expansion at meviy enables us to meet more diverse needs by providing high-quality parts at even lower prices for sheet metal welding.
We will continue to provide time value to our global customers in the IA (Industrial Automation) industry through expanding our services and contribute to enhancing their productivity.

To meet the various needs of customers for planned production, meviy has been offering the "Economy Shipping Service”^*1 for some of its services since July 2022. Now, this option has been added to the sheet metal welding which has been a widely used service since its launch in November 2023^*2.
Since the launch of the sheet metal welding service, we have received many customer requests for the Economy Shipping Service option, as welded parts are often procured on a planned basis with a relatively flexible lead time. This time, by improving and streamlining our production system, we have succeeded in establishing a system where products that are not in a rush for delivery can be manufactured in batches, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and finally making our Economy Shipping Service available in the sheet metal welding service.
