MISUMI has addressed this challenge by standardizing these make‑to‑order parts and making them available on the MISUMI e-Commerce site. Customers can simply select the required dimensions and specifications from a structured list and place orders without drawings. Part dimensions can be specified down to the micron level, and the number of possible product configurations reaches 80 sextillion.

Notwithstanding the huge variety of 80 sextillion product variations that MISUMI offers, our success in minimizing inventory and ensuring reliable, quick delivery is anchored in our use of "semi-finished products." We mass-produce these semi-finished products at factories in Vietnam and other locations, and perform final finishing at the factory closest to the consumption area based on customer orders, ensuring Reliable & Quick Delivery with Each Cusom-made Item.

"meviy" is a platform that digitalizes the quoting and manufacturing of machine parts. This platform has shortened the process of creating 2D drawings and obtaining quotes, which can take dozens of hours after completing the 3D CAD design, to approximately one minute. When you upload the design data (CAD data) of the parts, the AI responds immediately with the price and delivery date, then an auto-generated manufacturing program enables the parts to be shipped in as little as one day. Even complex parts that are difficult to list in catalogs can now be easily procured through data alone, without any human intervention.

RAPiD Design is a 3D CAD data library software for components used in automation devices and equipment. It is a service tailored for designers of automation devices and equipment.
Traditionally, customers have been forced to perform inefficient and time-consuming tasks, going between CAD and online catalogs to download parts information as they design, select, and request quotes.
With RAPiD Design, the entire process from design to quote is completed in CAD, eliminating downloads and making specification changes incredibly easy. By drastically reducing the number of complicated tasks, customers can now focus on their core business of design and development.

MISUMI FRAMES is an installable software that allows you to intuitively design and order aluminum frame enclosures with a simple mouse operation. It automates labor-intensive tasks and reduces the time from design to order by up to 90% compared to conventional CAD software methods. In the two and a half years since the launch of MISUMI FRAMES, we have continuously updated this service by redesigning the user interface and adding new functionalities. As a consequence, we now have more than 50,000 users.
