MISUMI Selected for DX Stocks 2026 and DX Grand Prix 2026

MISUMI Group Inc. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Arata Shimizu) was selected on April 10, 2026, for Digital Transformation Stocks (DX Stocks) 2026. DX Stocks is a program jointly administered by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan.
In addition, MISUMI was selected for DX Grand Prix 2026, which recognizes companies that are leading the digital era from among those chosen as DX Stocks.

The DX Stocks program recognizes companies among approximately 3,800 companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange that are leveraging digital technologies to fundamentally transform their business models and operations, create new growth opportunities, and strengthen competitiveness.
Companies selected as DX Stocks are those that have established internal mechanisms to promote DX initiatives that enhance corporate value, and that have demonstrated outstanding results through the effective use of digital technologies.
In DX Stocks 2026, 30 companies, including MISUMI Group Inc., were selected.
Among these, 3 companies, including MISUMI Group Inc., were further recognized with DX Grand Prix 2026 for particularly outstanding DX initiatives.
▪    Greater emphasis placed on the use of AI
In this year’s DX Stocks selection review, an additional evaluation item was introduced to place greater emphasis on the use of generative AI.

MISUMI’s business aims to serve as a foundation supporting the global Monozukuri industry. By identifying inefficiencies scattered throughout manufacturing processes and innovating those processes through digital technologies such as IT and AI, MISUMI has long contributed to Monozukuri.
A defining feature of MISUMI’s Business MODEL is its ability to innovate processes themselves, grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs. The company offers more than 30 million standard components and consumables, as well as one-of-a-kind customized parts designed using 3D CAD. In recent years, MISUMI has pursued a growth strategy that combines digital technologies with Monozukuri, continuously introducing digital services that support customers’ design and procurement operations. In 2025, MISUMI entered growth industries and acquired U.S.-based online Monozukuri company Fictiv Inc., further enhancing its digital manufacturing capabilities.
