【D-JIT: High-Volume Parts Procurement in the U.S. and Mexico Now Available】

On November 4, 2025, MISUMI Group Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Ryusei Ono) will launch its “D-JIT” service in the U.S. and Mexico, enabling one-click, high-volume ordering of manufacturing components, such as machinery parts.
This will help streamline the procurement of machine parts used in manufacturing equipment and automated warehouses, which are seeing growing demand driven by EV-related sectors.
D-JIT is already available across Asia—including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan—as well as throughout Europe, with over 90,000 companies having adopted the service (*1). MISUMI, known for its strength in short lead-time procurement of small-volume, high-mix parts, has expanded its capabilities through D-JIT to meet increasing demand for high-volume procurement in emerging sectors. In response to recent tariff policies, the U.S. is experiencing a reshoring trend in domestic manufacturing. This trend is driving increased demand for general-purpose equipment—such as transport robots, medical testing devices, and high-precision 3D printers—used in EV-related sectors and automated warehouses. This capability eliminates the need for purchasing teams to manually search for suppliers with available inventory and resolves cases where the required quantities were previously unavailable on the MISUMI e-Commerce site.
D-JIT is now available in the Mexican market as well. It offers real-time inventory visibility, further streamlining procurement and reducing the workload for purchasing teams. MISUMI has long been a trusted supplier of machine parts for manufacturing systems and equipment in Mexico. With D-JIT, MISUMI now provides even greater convenience for Mexican manufacturers sourcing MRO materials—especially in large-scale mass production environments where general-purpose equipment is used.

D-JIT is MISUMI’s digital transformation service for procurement, designed to eliminate waiting time for delivery adjustments and quotations on the MISUMI’s e-Commerce site. Officially launched in Japan in April 2024, D-JIT combines real-time inventory data from over 700 global suppliers with MISUMI’s own production capacity. This integration significantly boosts supply capability, without changing the customer’s ordering process.
The virtual inventory value now totals JPY 800 billion, a sixteen-fold increase compared to previous levels (*2). D-JIT is currently available not only in Japan but also in South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Europe, the U.S., and Mexico, with over 90,000 companies actively using the service.
