Launches auto-quoting for CNC-turned MC nylon (conductive, black) / (anti-static, black)

As of June 9, meviy, an AI-based parts procurement platform by MISUMI Group Inc., will launch auto-quoting for "MC Nylon (conductive, black)" and "MC Nylon (anti-static, black)" in its CNC turning. This enhancement allows customers to utilize meviy for parts requiring electrostatic countermeasures, such as guide rollers in the electronics and electrical industries and components for cleanroom equipment.

MC Nylon is an advanced polyamide resin that enhances the wear resistance and mechanical strength of conventional nylon 6. With various grades available, users can select the most suitable option based on application requirements. Among these, the conductive (black) and anti-static grades (black) are used for a wide range of applications including guide rollers, wheels, and cleanroom equipment components, playing a crucial role in the electronics and electrical industries, where electrostatic countermeasures are essential. Due to increasing demand from customers in the electronics and electrical industries, meviy initially introduced auto-quoting for MC Nylon conductive and anti-static grades in CNC milling. Leveraging the expertise gained from this implementation, meviy now expands support to "MC Nylon (conductive, black)" and "MC Nylon (anti-static, black)" in its CNC turning. With this enhancement, customers in the electronics and electrical industries can procure components requiring electrostatic countermeasures using 3D data alone, contributing to improved productivity.
