MISUMI FRAMES exceeds 100,000 users, boosting design efficiency

The MISUMI FRAMES service was launched on February 12, 2020*1, and has since been well received by many customers for its high efficiency and convenience in designing enclosures using aluminum extrusions. Extruded aluminum frames are used in a wide range of applications, including enclosures for factory automation equipment and safety fences for industrial robots, but the design process is often error-prone and time-consuming. To address this common industry challenge, MISUMI, a provider of aluminum extrusions since 1993, developed MISUMI FRAMES, a software that streamlines the process from design to order, reducing the time required by up to 90%. 
In addition, we have continued to incorporate customer feedback since the launch of the service and have made a number of updates, such as making the CAD data import unnecessary, adding the ability to automatically generate product model numbers and bills of materials, and revamping the user interface*2. As a result, MISUMI FRAMES has achieved usability that allows even beginners to operate intuitively, and convenience that offers one-stop service from design to order. These improvements have been widely appreciated by customers, including those with no previous experience in enclosure design, leading to widespread adoption of MISUMI FRAMES.
