MISUMI Group Inc. (Headquarter: Bunkyo-Ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Ryusei Ono) will relocate and expand its Indian subsidiary (sales site, distribution site, and production site) and begin full-scale operations on Wednesday, December 1st.
The new site will expand the total warehouse floor space by approximately 60% compared to the previous location and double the number of in-stock items to around 90,000. In addition, by sequentially expanding the inventory lineup, we will further strengthen our ability to ensure reliable, quick delivery times and make a significant contribution to the stable supply of automation equipment and facility parts to industrial automation customers in India and reduce procurement lead times.

India's transportation network is inadequate for its vast land area. In addition, the number of local suppliers of indirect materials for automation equipment and devices is small compared to other Asian countries. Therefore, securing suppliers of parts and consumables and the long lead time for procurement are significant issues for industrial automation customers. To solve these problems, we have been providing reliable and quick delivery services in India.
To further strengthen our reliable and quick delivery service, we expand our warehouse to double the number of stock items. In addition to our products, we will expand our inventory of other brands and increase the number of products delivered to major cities in India in as little as one day and other regions in as little as two days. In addition, we will expand our sales functions, and customer support to better respond to customer needs and improve our services.
We will continue to contribute to eliminating inefficiencies in the procurement of automated indirect materials for our customers by further strengthening the MISUMI QCT (high Quality, low Cost, reliable, and quick delivery Time) model.
