Disclosure Policy

  • 1.Basic Disclosure Policy
    • MISUMI Group Inc. (the "Company") works to promptly provide information to shareholders and investors based on the principles of transparency, fairness, and continuity. The Company endeavors to disclose information pursuant to the Securities and Exchange Law and the Tokyo Stock Exchange's rules for timely disclosure, and in addition works to disclose in a timely and proactive manner information that, on the basis of the Company's judgment, is thought to aid in the understanding of the Company's business management.
  • 2.Information Disclosure Methods
    • Important information subject to the timely disclosure rules stipulated by the Tokyo Stock Exchange is publicly disclosed by registering it in TDnet, a distribution system provided by the Tokyo Stock Exchange for the timely disclosure of information, after explaining the nature of the information to the exchange in advance. The same information is also promptly provided to the media through the Tokyo Stock Exchange's press club, and the same documents are uploaded without delay onto the Company's website.
  • 3.Performance Forecasts and Predictions about the Future
    • The Company's plans, future outlooks, strategies and other statements contained on the Company's website, other than statements about past or present facts, constitute forecasts related to future performance and are based on judgments and assumptions made with information available at the time they are made. Accordingly, actual performance may differ from such forward-looking statements due to changes in uncertain elements, economic conditions, and other factors.
  • 4.Silent Period
    • The Company observes a silent period from two weeks before the settlement date until the day results are announced in order prevent the leakage of financial information and ensure fairness. During this period, the Company refrains from answering questions and making comments related to financial performance. However, if expectations emerge during the silent period that results forecasts will change substantially, the Company will make a suitable public announcement in accordance with disclosure rules. The Company will respond to questions that are limited to information previously made available to the public, even during the silent period.
  • 5.Disclosure to Third Parties and Performance Forecasts by Third Parties
    • In separate meetings with institutional investors, analysts, and others, the Company only makes mention of facts that have already been publicly disclosed, widely-known facts, and information on the general business environment. Additionally, the Company does not support any comments, performance forecasts, or other statements made about the Company by third parties.
