SURUGA Production Platform Signs Platinum Partnership Agreement with Veltex Shizuoka

SURUGA Production Platform Co., Ltd. (“SURUGA Production Platform”, headquartered in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan; Representative Director and President: Takumi Toya), a group company of MISUMI Group Inc. (“MISUMI”, headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Ryusei Ono) has signed a platinum partnership agreement with Veltex Shizuoka, a professional basketball team based in Shizuoka. 
The agreement signing ceremony, attended by representatives from Veltex Shizuoka and SURUGA Production Platform, took place on September 9th. The agreement runs through the 2024-25 season.

Veltex Shizuoka is a professional basketball team based in the city of Shizuoka, founded in 2018, making its debut in the B.LEAGUE in 2019. With the philosophy of "Developing people, a community, and a dream," Veltex Shizuoka is actively engaged in the local community to promote its development using sports as a starting point.
Looking for an opportunity to deepen the relationship with the local community and energize Shizuoka, where the company is located, SURUGA Production Platform has decided to support Veltex Shizuoka as a sponsoring partner. Based on the idea that basketball is a game against time, MISUMI believes that supporting Veltex is in line with the “time strategy” that is the mission of MISUMI Group. This agreement will allow SURUGA Production Platform to place its corporate logo on Veltex’s uniforms. It will also help invigorate the team by providing various support to the team, players and spectators.
The first match of this season in Shizuoka will be held at the Shizuoka City Central Gymnasium on October 26th and 27th. As the title sponsor, SURUGA Production Platform is fully supporting this game and preparing original giveaways. Please come and cheer them on!

The uniforms that the Veltex players will wear in all of their matches this season will have the corporate logos of MISUMI and SURUGA Production Platform printed on them.
